At the EDE Centers for Dance our professional dance teachers offer the highest caliber dance training to local students.
In the community and schools, EDE works to enrich the lives of young people through innovative outreach programs, like Healthy Kids.
In order to continue to develop and expand EDE’s artistic and educational programs for people around the world and those just around the block, we need your help!

Sponsor a Dancer $2,000
EDE’s goal is to attract and retain the finest dancers and to provide those dancers with professional opportunities commensurate with their talent. You can help EDE reach this goal by becoming a Dance Sponsor with a gift of $2,000. Dance Sponsors select an artist from the EDE roster to sponsor over the course of the season. At each performance of that artist on our series, your sponsorship will be announced from the stage and in the performance program. Helping bring great art to our community is a gift unto itself. It is also a great way to honor a friend, remember a family member, or commemorate a special event. You will play a leadership role in fostering a healthy cultural climate for southeast Michigan, and you will help us provide livelihood to the fine young dancers who are central to our mission.

Matching great artistry with terrific supporters is our mission with the DanceMover program. DanceMovers are generous individuals and leaders who donate $1,000+ annually to support EDE’s operating fund and position the company to enjoy continued its success in future seasons. DanceMovers receive a host of exclusive benefits, including: two season subscriptions, invitations to special events and open rehearsals, and a photograph taken with the dancers.

Become a patron of new choreography
EDE invites you to help bring a new dance into the world. When we reach a goal of $3,000 or more, EDE will invite a nationally renowned choreographer to set a new work on the Company. At the premiere of the new dance, you will be listed in the program as a patron of the commission and invited to a post-performance reception with the dancers.
The more gifts (and the larger the gifts) we receive, the sooner a new dance will come to life. Your generous donation will keep dance alive.
