EDE Center for Dance

The EDE Center for Dance provides the highest quality, most comprehensive dance instruction, with classes taught by established professional dancers. The school's carefully structured curriculum emphasizes the student's creative and artistic development as well as technical proficiency. Individually planned classes focus on the distinctive needs of both professional and non-professional dancers. The school offers a positive, nurturing atmosphere appropriate for all levels and ages, children to adults.

Class Schedule
Here you will find the complete listing of days/times for EDE Center’s schedule of classes in Rochester and in Birmingham. Classes are offered in Ballet, Pre-Ballet, Modern, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Boys Hip-Hop, Creative Movement/Tumbling, Mom & Tot, Yoga, Pilates and Ballroom.

Summer Programs
During the summer the EDE Center for Dance offers on-going classes for teens and adults, a month-long Ballet Intensive and Summer Camps for children in grades 1-6. Information on all summer offerings can be found here.

Student Companies
The EDE Center for dance houses four student dance companies including Center Dance Ensemble, Co-Motion, M.Y. Move and Kids Creating. These companies give students the opportunity to perform within the community as well as with the EDE professional company.

The EDE Center for dance sets itself apart from other dance schools by offering classes taught by former and current professional EDE company members along with a staff of highly skilled, degreed instructors who provide effective individualized instruction for all students.
